Chapter 11 - THE WHISPER OF THE COFFIN

The spring breeze carrying Sophia and Benjamin’s laughter across the Westchester lawn couldn't wash away the lingering shadows inside the Morgan-Sterling alliance. Robert sat in his private study, turning a heavy iron skeleton key between his fingers—the key to the old Manhattan vault where his father-in-law had historically stored the family's darkest secrets.

Marcus stepped into the room, holding a encrypted tablet that was flashing a crimson alert.

"Mr. Morgan, you need to see this," Marcus said, setting the device on the mahogany desk. "The federal marshals searched Victoria Vance’s private safety deposit box at the Federal Reserve this morning. They didn't just find offshore accounts. They found a secondary dossier labeled Project Heir-Lock."

Robert frowned, his gaze shifting to the screen. "What is Project Heir-Lock?"

"It’s a contingency file detailing the children our families never knew existed," Marcus replied grimly. "Victoria and Arthur Sterling didn't just target Sophia and the Detroit triplets. They had a network of private informants tracking every secret pregnancy across corporate America for the last two decades. And according to this ledger... there's a fifth child."

Robert stood up so fast his chair scraped loudly against the Persian rug. "A fifth child? Whose?"

"It lists a name, sir," Marcus whispered, sliding a printed document forward. "A boy born five years ago in an upstate clinic—carrying the genetic markers of both the Morgan and Sterling bloodlines. A child born to Marina during her secret visits to the upstate medical facility... a twin brother to Sophia that was separated at birth and sold into an undisclosed private adoption ring."

Robert stared at the paper, the world spinning around him. Marina had given birth to twins. Sophia had a brother out there in the world, completely hidden from them.
