Three days after the Wall Street squeeze, Claire called a global press conference in the Grand Halcyon’s main atrium. Hundreds of journalists, financial analysts, and corporate leaders packed the room.

"Many people believed this hotel was just a piece of real estate," Claire announced, her image projected across international news networks. "They believed power comes from owning stock certificates and offshore trusts."

She signaled to Miriam, who brought forward a stack of legal deeds.

"Effective immediately, the Bennett Family Heritage Trust is transferring the perpetual land ownership of the Grand Halcyon—and the three international properties acquired from Ouroboros Group—into an irrevocable Public Land Trust."

The room gasped.

"No corporate entity, no hedge fund, and no individual—including myself—can ever sell, mortgage, or liquidate this land again," Claire declared, her voice firm with ultimate victory. "The profits will forever be split: 50% to the employee cooperative, and 50% to fund urban housing development for underprivileged families in this city."
