Diego bolted across the veranda, scooping Maya into his arms just as a second round shattered the reinforced glass doors behind them, showering the hardwood floor with a cascade of sharp diamonds. Maya didn't scream; she bit her lip, holding tightly to Diego's tactical vest as they vanished down the secure descent.
"Victor, Matteo, with me," Ramon barked, drawing his custom Sig Sauer. "They want a war on my doorstep? Let's give them a masterclass."
They sprinted through the sprawling estate as alarms began to wail throughout the modern halls, flashing emergency crimson lights against the minimalist white architecture. Glass shattered from the west wing as grappling hooks locked onto the cliffside balconies, followed swiftly by masked mercenaries in black tactical gear rappelling down like spiders.
Ramon rounded the corner of the grand hallway just as three operatives cleared the threshold.

Without breaking stride, Ramon raised his pistol and fired twice. Bang. Bang. Two operatives dropped instantly, headshots executed with chilling precision. The third raised his submachine gun, but Victor tackled him mid-air, driving his combat knife deep into the man’s throat with a sickening crunch.
"Boss, they're hitting the lower garage!" Matteo shouted into his comms, reloading his weapon with a sharp click. "They've got heavy ordnance—c4 charges on the secondary vault doors!"
