Chapter 14 - Breach at Sector 7The Zurich data facility looked less like a corporate office and more like a Cold War bunker—all reinforced titanium walls, perimeter motion sensors, and armed guards patrolling the snowy courtyards.

Adrian and Dominic moved through the shadows of the outer fence like ghosts. Using a military-grade code-cloner provided by one of Adrian’s European contacts, Dominic bypassed the outer biometric gate in under ten seconds.
They slipped into the subterranean server room through a maintenance hatch.
“We’re inside,” Dominic whispered, tapping his tactical headset. “Mainframe is dead ahead, Sector 7.”
Adrian stepped into the chilled, neon-lit server bay, pulling a portable encryption bypass drive from his tactical vest and slamming it into the master terminal port. Lines of green code cascaded down the monitors.
Access Granted: Override Sequence Initiated.
“Good,” Adrian muttered. “Downloading the core files now. Thirty seconds until complete wipe.”
Suddenly, the red emergency klaxons began to wail overhead, bathing the room in flashing crimson light. Heavy steel security shutters slammed down over the exits, sealing the bay.

Over the facility loudspeaker, an automated synthesized voice echoed: Perimeter breach detected. Facility lockdown engaged. Federal and local security forces are en route.
Dominic spun around, raising his rifle toward the reinforced glass door. “Boss! We’ve been set up! The feds didn't just catch wind—they were waiting for us to trigger the trap!”
