Chapter 10 - The Ultimate GameSix months later.

The bell above the door of a quiet, sunlit café in downtown Zurich chimed softly.

Clara sat at a corner table overlooking the pristine alpine lake, reviewing international quarterly reports on her tablet. Her hair fell loosely over her shoulders, her emerald eyes bright, glowing with absolute freedom and unbridled success.

Sophie sat across from her, excitedly coloring a picture of a wolf protecting its pack.

"Mommy, are we ever going back to America?" Sophie asked without looking up from her crayons.

Clara smiled, taking a sip of her espresso. "Maybe one day, sweetheart. But right now? This is our home."

Across the street, parked in the shadow of a grand limestone building, a black Maybach sat idling. Inside, Adrian Whitmore sat in the backseat, his fingers resting on a silver ring in his palm. He looked through the tinted window at the café, watching his ex-wife laugh softly as she ruffled her daughter’s hair.

He didn't get out of the car. He didn't approach them. He finally understood what true power was—it wasn't about controlling everything around you, but accepting the consequences of what you destroyed.

Adrian closed his fist around the ring, a ghost of a respectful smile touching his lips for the first time in five years. He tapped the glass partition.

"Let’s go," he instructed his driver.

The Maybach silently pulled away into the European traffic, leaving Clara and Sophie in their hard-earned peace, while the billionaire returned to his empire—forever changed, forever watching, and forever haunted by the woman who beat him at his own game.
