Elena slowly lowered her hands, rolling her wrists with casual indifference. The tear-streaked, fragile florist expression melted off her face, replaced by an expression of supreme, chilling composure. She reached down, picked up the pistol The Architect had dropped, and expertly checked the chamber with the fluid familiarity of a seasoned combat veteran.

Enzo froze, the warmth draining entirely from his blood as the impossible puzzle pieces violently clicked into place. "Who... who are you?" he demanded, his voice dropping into a dangerous, dark register.

"Allow me to reintroduce myself," she whispered smoothly, leveling the firearm squarely at Enzo's chest. "I am Elena Moretti. The only surviving daughter of the syndicate boss you executed in cold blood thirty years ago."
