Chapter 4 - The Family Meeting Meltdown

Back at the Manhattan clinic, the waiting room doors swung open, and Bradley stumbled out, his face drained of color, sweat beading on his forehead. Eleanor and Brittany rushed toward him, their expressions shifting from excitement to alarm.
"Bradley? What is it? Is the baby okay?" Eleanor demanded, grabbing his arm. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
"We need to leave," Bradley choked out, his voice shaking as he grabbed his designer jacket. "Now. Get your bags. Get out to the car."
"Leave? But the ultrasound—" Brittany started, her voice shrill with indignation. "Tiffany is ready! What did that doctor say to you?"
"He said the money is gone!" Bradley hissed, losing his composure as heads turned in the quiet waiting room. "He said... he said the accounts are frozen. All of them. The penthouse, the corporate holdings, the trust—everything is tied up in an emergency injunction filed by Sarah’s legal team two hours ago!"
Tiffany stepped out of the ultrasound room, her face pale beneath her makeup, sensing the sudden panic. "Bradley? What are you talking about? What about my condo payments? What about the nursery budget?"
Bradley turned to her, his eyes wild with a mixture of rage and sheer terror. For months, he had used Tiffany as a trophy, a symbol of his supposed superiority over the quiet, dutiful wife he thought he had outgrown. Now, looking at her designer clothes and realizing every cent of it was tied to frozen assets he no longer controlled, the illusion shattered.
"Your condo?" Bradley snarled, his voice cracking. "There is no condo, Tiffany! Sarah has the records. She has the transfers. She knows about the offshore accounts, she knows about the clinic, and she’s already out of the country!"

Eleanor gasped, clutching her pearls as if she might faint. "Out of the country? Where could she possibly go? She doesn't have any money of her own! She’s dependent on you!"
"She took the kids to London," Bradley whispered, dropping his head into his hands as the full weight of his ruin crashed down upon him. "And she didn't just leave... she took everything."
