News in a mafia mansion travels faster than wildfire. By midnight, every capo, guard, and cook in the Morty estate knew that the quiet, mousy maid from the east wing had been elevated to the master suite alongside a three-year-old toddler who claimed to be the boss's daughter.
In the dimly lit basement lounge, three senior capos—led by Victor Santoro, a ruthless veteran who had served Lorenzo’s father—gathered around a scarred wooden table.
"It's a trap," Victor spat, taking a slow sip of scotch. "A former Castellano auditor infiltrates the mansion, plays the long game, and suddenly pops out a kid claiming blood ties to the boss? She’s an assassin or an FBI plant."

"She’s been scrubbing floors for six months, Victor," a younger capo muttered nervously. "Nobody plays the long game with bleach and a mop."
"She’s weakening him," Victor slammed his glass down, the amber liquid splashing across the wood. "Lorenzo has ruled with absolute iron because he has no weaknesses. A woman and a child? That’s a target painted on his back. If Lorenzo won't clean house, we will. We test the girl. Tonight."
