Inside the secure digital compliance room on the thirty-second floor of the Vale Foundation headquarters, the servers hummed quietly in climate-controlled perfection. Security protocols here were military-grade, designed to withstand sophisticated state-sponsored cyberattacks.

Yet, security was only as strong as the human credentials entrusted to access it.

Using a compromised administrator login credential that Bella had secretly copied from an old Ashford server two years prior and kept hidden, a remote terminal began executing a silent, unauthorized data scrape.

Lines of encrypted code scrolled rapidly across a dark computer screen inside a rented penthouse in downtown Miami.

Julian Vance stood behind the terminal, watching the progress bar tick upward: 10%... 45%... 80%... 100% Download Complete.

“We got it,” Julian whispered, a triumphant smirk spreading across his face as he watched the local file transfer finish downloading a massive archive labeled ‘Project Vale – Legacy Compliance’.

Bella rushed over, leaning against the desk, her eyes wide with greedy excitement. “Show me. Let’s see what we have on her.”

Julian clicked open the primary PDF file.

The document popped up on the screen, bearing official-looking letterheads, judicial signatures, and detailed bank routing numbers dating back to the late nineteen-nineties. It appeared to show Judge Vale approving real estate transfers in Palm Beach under questionable statutory exemptions.
