"Traitor!" she screamed, hurling her plastic cup at the screen. "He ruined me! He gave everything to her!"
The guard outside her cell chuckled, rattling his baton against the bars. "Save your breath, Mrs. Vance. Your trial starts next month, and word on the cell block is that your cellmate used to work for one of the corporate rivals you tried to frame. Good luck."
Victoria slumped against the metal bunk, realizing too late that her web of deceit had become the very noose that hanged her.
