Chapter 5 - UNHOLY ALLIANCE🔥 MAFIA BOSS TEAMS UP WITH HIS DEADLIEST ENEMY TO SAVE HIS CHILDREN! YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHO SHOWED UP! 😱

At 3:15 AM, under a torrential downpour, three blacked-out sedans pulled into a deserted alleyway behind a discarded meatpacking plant in South Chicago.

Gabriel stepped out into the rain, unbuttoning his overcoat. Standing under the rusted overhang was a tall, silver-haired man in an expensive Italian suit, surrounded by eight armed guards holding automatic weapons.

Don Vito Moretti—the head of the Moretti Crime Family. The man Gabriel had blamed for his wife’s death for nearly a decade.

"You have a lot of nerve calling me to a dark alley, Rowan," Vito growled, resting his hands on an ivory-handled cane. "The last time we met, your men put three bullets into my eldest nephew."

"Evan Cross set us both up, Vito," Gabriel said flatly. "Fourteen years ago, he killed my wife Clara. He framed your family to start a turf war so we would destroy each other while he laundered billions out of both our operations."

Vito’s eyes narrowed into slits. "You expect me to believe that snake managed to fool both of us?"

Gabriel tossed a thick manila folder onto the hood of Vito's car. "Inside are bank records from Zurich and the Cayman Islands. Evan has been skimming 15% off your syndicate's shipping routes through Rowan Freight for twelve years. He made $200 million off your blood, Vito."

Vito opened the folder, skimming through the audited wire transfers. As his eyes scanned the numbers, his face pale with fury. "That bastard..."

"He took my kids," Gabriel said, stepping closer. "He’s holding them at the old Port Grain Silos. He wants the decryption key to my empire. I can't involve the feds, or he'll kill them before they reach the gate."

Vito closed the folder with a sharp snap. He looked at Gabriel, a grim respect flashing in his hardened eyes. "Fourteen years we fought like dogs over scraps, while a rat ate our dinner. What do you need, Rowan?"

"I need your ghosts," Gabriel replied. "The enforcers the feds don't have on record. We go in heavy, we go in silent, and we burn Evan Cross to the ground."

Vito smiled—a cold, terrifying flash of teeth. "It would be my absolute pleasure."
