Chapter 10 - ASHES TO EMPIRES (THE UNEXPECTED TWIST)Forty-eight hours later, deep inside a high-security underground medical archive facility controlled by the Orelio syndicate, the final piece of the puzzle clicked into place.

Elina stood before a glowing genetic sequencing monitor alongside Dante and Vera. Side-by-side DNA profiles scrolled across the screen in bright green text.
Match Confirmed: 99.99% Identical Twin.
"It wasn't a fire accident," Vera whispered, staring at the digitized autopsy report from five years ago. "The body they found in the harbor warehouse... it wasn't Elena. It was someone else planted there to fake her death."
Elina’s breath hitched. She looked at Dante, who stood staring at the monitor, his knuckles white as he gripped the edge of the steel console.
"If Elena didn't die in that fire..." Elina started, her voice barely a whisper, "where is she?"
Just then, the heavy security doors at the end of the subterranean hallway hissed open. Footsteps echoed against the concrete floor—slow, deliberate, and entirely unhurried.

Dante whipped around, his gun half-drawn, but froze dead in his tracks.
A woman walked out from the shadows of the corridor. She wore a tailored black trench coat, her dark hair falling in soft waves around her shoulders. She had the exact same face as Elina—down to the faint dimple on her left cheek. But her eyes were hard, cold, and edged with the same chilling authority as Dante's.
