Chapter 19 - The GraduationTwo years later.

The grand auditorium of Santa Esperanza Academy was packed with cheering parents, faculty, and proud students. Streamers hung from the rafters, and the air was electric with celebration.

Seated in the front row were Marcus, Evelyn, Lucas, Mateo, and Sofia, holding a massive banner that read: CONGRATULATIONS, VALEDICTORIAN ISABELLA!

When Isabella’s name was called to take the stage as the top graduate of her class, thunderous applause shook the room. She walked across the stage in her cap and gown, accepting her diploma and the full-ride scholarship plaque for pre-law at Stanford University.

At the podium, Isabella looked out over the crowded auditorium, her eyes resting on the family who had taken her in, loved her, and given her a future.

"People often ask me how I survived the streets, how I found the courage to carry three lost babies through the rain," Isabella spoke into the microphone, her voice carrying clear and strong. "The truth is, survival isn't something you do alone. It's about choosing to care when the world tells you to look away. Family isn't just created by blood—it's created by the choices we make to protect each other."
