Ten years later, the Moretti estate was hosting a quiet celebration. It wasn't a gathering of syndicate bosses or corrupt politicians, but a private family milestone.

At eighteen, Sophia Bellini sat at the head table alongside the family, wearing an elegant dress for her high school valedictorian celebration. Across from her sat Leo, now a bright, energetic ten-year-old boy who spent most of his time asking his father endless questions about engines, architecture, and the family shipping fleet.

Rocco, now fifty-eight, sat at the center of the table with Clara by his side. His hair was streaked with silver, but his posture remained as commanding as ever.

As dinner concluded, Sophia stood up, holding a small, polished wooden box. She walked over to Rocco and placed it gently on the table before him.

Curious, Rocco lifted the lid. Inside rested a small, faded, slightly stretched plastic hospital bracelet—cleaned, preserved, and mounted on black velvet. The faded identification number was still faintly visible beneath the St. Helena seal.

Rocco looked up at Sophia, his dark eyes shimmering with an emotion he rarely showed anyone.

"I kept it in my desk all these years, Mr. Moretti," Sophia said softly, a gentle smile touching her lips. "To remind me that no matter how dark things get, a single small light is enough to change everything."

Rocco slowly reached out, his weathered fingers brushing the edge of the plastic band that had changed their lives a decade ago. He looked across the table at Clara, then down at his son Leo, who was staring at the bracelet with wide, curious eyes, finally learning the true story of how he had come home.
