Chapter 10 - A NEW HORIZON

Three months later, Fort Lauderdale Marina was bathed in the warm, golden glow of a peaceful Florida sunset.

The luxury yacht Golden Hour sat gliding gently across the calm waters, its hull fully repaired, its systems secure, and its decks filled with laughter.

On the bow of the yacht, eight-year-old Peter stood leaning over the railing, pointing excitedly at a pod of dolphins leaping through the golden wake.

Standing right beside him, wearing a brand-new white summer dress, brand-new leather sandals, and holding a pristine new stuffed rabbit, was Luna Silver.

She wasn't running barefoot across the docks anymore. She wasn't sleeping behind fuel drums or begging for food.

In the grand study of the newly expanded Sterling estate, legal adoption papers rested on a mahogany desk—signed, sealed, and official.

Richard and Marina stood on the upper deck, watching the children laugh as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in brilliant shades of amber and rose.

Marina leaned her head against Richard’s shoulder, slipping her hand into his. "You know, if she hadn't run down that pier shouting that day... we wouldn't be standing here right now."

Richard smiled, wrapping his arm around his wife and looking out over the sparkling ocean.

"She didn't just save the boat, Marina," Richard whispered softly, watching Luna throw her head back and laugh as Peter pointed out another dolphin leaping through the waves. "She saved our entire world."
