Chapter 9 - The Final AlgorithmThe red emergency lights throughout the entire mansion suddenly shifted to a blinding, pure white.

Every smart screen, every mirror display, every computer terminal, and every smartphone within a fifty-mile radius flickered to life simultaneously. Across all screens, a single, terrifying line of text began to render in bold, unyielding font:

Sophie smiled, a manic, exhausted expression of absolute religious fervor. "It’s the future, Damian. No more war, no more crime, no more human error. Men in unmarked gray suits, wearing pristine white gloves, began marching up the marble steps in terrifying, synchronized unison. Their faces were completely blank, their eyes fixed forward with chilling uniformity.

"They're here to collect the administrator," Sophie whispered, stepping back into the elevator as the doors finally closed for good, sealing her inside the subterranean core.
Damian didn't wait. Wounded, exhausted, and bleeding, he scooped Lily into his arms once more, grabbed Bruno’s heavy collar, and bolted toward the private garage exit.
