Chapter 19 - The Crown of Resilience

Two years after that freezing March night when my suitcase was tossed into the snow, the Greenwich estate—now permanently rechristened Vance-Whitmore Manor—was filled with the sound of laughter, music, and celebration.
The iron gates were wide open, adorned with fresh spring flowers. Philanthropists, global business leaders, and medical researchers gathered on the sprawling emerald lawn for the annual charity gala hosted by the foundation.
I stood at the top of the grand marble staircase in a sweeping emerald-green silk gown, my auburn hair cascading in soft waves over my shoulders. Holding my hand were my three beautiful toddlers—now walking, talking, and laughing with bright, fearless eyes.
Arthur walked up beside me, offering his arm with a warm, proud smile.
"Ready to greet your empire, Madam Chairwoman?" he asked gently.
