Chapter 12 - The Truth Within the EnvelopeSamuel sat in the back of his idling Maybach, carefully sliding his finger under the brittle tape of the envelope. He pulled out a stack of folded documents and a handwritten letter.

He unfolded the letter first, his eyes scanning the faded blue ink:

“My dearest Samuel, If you are reading this, it means Richard Sterling's web of lies has finally unraveled, or God has called me home. For ten years, I have lived with a terrifying secret. Richard did not just try to isolate you from us; he stole the patent assignment forms for your father's original mechanical designs—the very designs that fueled Andrews Global's first billion-dollar valuation. He used my silence as leverage, threatening that if I ever told you the truth about how your company was actually funded, he would destroy your career before it even began. Protect Clara and the girls, Samuel. They are the only true family we have left. Do not let Richard take what belongs to them. — Mom.”

Samuel stared at the paper, the breath completely leaving his lungs. The empire he had built wasn't just built on his own sweat and sacrifice. It had been built on stolen property, manipulated by Richard Sterling from day one.

And worse—Richard still owned twenty percent of the shadow holding company that controlled the foundational patents.
