Chapter 4 - HUNTED BY THE LIVING WEAPON“High Command sent a strike team, but they entered a nightmare.”Three days passed. Outpost 4 went completely dark on military radar.

A elite Bio-Hazard Retrieval Unit, heavy armored and equipped with flamethrowers, was dispatched to investigate the silent radio frequency. When their armored personnel carriers ground to a halt inside the camp gates, the team leader, Captain Reyes, stepped onto the bloody dirt.

“Scramble thermal imaging!” Reyes barked into his comms. “Find out what happened here!”

“Sir...” a technician whispered, staring at his monitor with horror. “The ground... it’s all thermal heat signatures. Millions of them. Underground, in the trees, in the vehicles... they are everywhere.”

Suddenly, a distress beacon pinged from the dense jungle two miles out. It was Alex's tracking device.
