Chapter 19 - The Final ConfessionTwo days later, inside the federal holding facility in San Francisco, Harrison stood behind the reinforced glass of the interrogation booth.

Sitting on the other side of the metal table was Richard Sterling, looking disheveled in his orange jumpsuit, his corporate arrogance completely shattered.

"You sent a hit squad to my home, Richard," Harrison said coldly through the intercom speaker. "That was a tactical mistake."

Richard sneered, leaning forward against the glass. "You think winning a skirmish changes anything, Vance? The syndicate isn't a single man or a board of directors. It's a network built into the very foundation of global finance. Someone else will take my place."

"Let them try," Harrison replied evenly. "Because unlike you, I don't fight alone anymore. My brother is home. My family is safe. And your network is completely dismantled."

Richard opened his mouth to reply, but the heavy steel door behind him swung open, and two federal marshals grabbed him by the shoulders, hauling him away to maximum-security isolation.

Harrison turned around, walking out of the precinct into the bright California sunshine.
