Three blacked-out SUVs had rammed directly through the outer security gate, their heavy tires tearing across the manicured lawns. Masked tactical operatives poured out, moving with terrifying military precision toward the main house.
Inside, the security alarms wailed, flashing an urgent red light through the corridors.
Marcus rushed down the main hallway toward Vance's study, his assault rifle raised. "Boss! We’ve been compromised! They bypassed the outer electronic grid—someone on the inside gave them our exact security codes!"
"I know," Vance said calmly, stepping out of the shadows with his weapon drawn. "Secure the second floor. Keep the children safe in the panic room no matter what happens."
Boom.

The massive oak front doors blew inward as a breaching charge detonated, sending heavy splinters of wood flying across the grand foyer.
Three tactical hitmen rushed into the house, weapons raised. Vance dropped behind a marble pillar, raised his pistol, and fired two precise shots. The lead operative slumped to the floor instantly, while Vance neutralized the remaining threat in seconds.
