Chapter 17 - The Siege of Montauk

A storm lashed the Montauk coastline as a high-speed black stealth helicopter cut through the rain clouds. Ethan sat in the open side door, wearing dark tactical gear, his eyes fixed on the concrete bunker jutting out from the cliffside below.
Flanking him were twelve elite private military contractors—men Ethan had hired using non-traceable offshore crypto reserves.
"No survivors except Victoria and Adrian," Ethan commanded over the comms, his voice ice-cold. "Bring Ava out safely, or burn the island to ash."
"Understood, Boss!"
The helicopter dropped low over the bunker’s roof. Ethan was the first to zip down the fast-rope, smashing through the reinforced skylight glass amidst a hail of gunfire.
Inside the underground medical lab, red emergency lights flashed as alarms blared.
Adrian froze, his scalpel hovering just inches above my chest. I was strapped to the operating table, intravenous lines running into my arm.
"What is that noise?!" Adrian screamed at his surgical assistants.

Before anyone could answer, the double doors of the operating theater exploded inward in a shockwave of concrete dust and twisted metal.
Ethan charged through the smoke, firing three round bursts with terrifying precision, dropping two guards instantly. He advanced like an unstoppable force of nature, his gaze locking onto Adrian.
