Chapter 18 - The Unseen Horizon

The private jet soared smoothly above the clouds, cutting through the stratosphere toward the heart of Europe. Elena sat in the leather-upholstered cabin, reviewing the final draft of her economic keynote address on her tablet.

Her life was entirely her own now. There were no secrets to keep, no hidden credit card bills to audit, no fragile egos to manage, and no toxic parasites hiding in the shadows of her success. She had traded a life of quiet subservience for a global empire of absolute sovereignty.

She looked out the circular cabin window at the endless expanse of blue sky stretching out infinitely beneath her. The storm was years behind her now, replaced by perpetual sunshine and unyielding strength.

Her phone buzzed once on the mahogany tray table. A notification from a major global financial news wire:

Vance Global Ventures Named Global Enterprise of the Year.

Elena didn't bother to reply or tweet about it. True power never needed to shout; its presence alone commanded the entire room.

She locked her screen, set the tablet aside, and closed her eyes, letting the gentle hum of the jet engines carry her toward her next conquest.
