Chapter 11 - THE PHYSICIAN OF DECEPTIONHook: Dr. Bell isn't a whistleblower or a stray ally—she’s the master architect of the entire twenty-two-year conspiracy.

The heavy steel barrel of Marco’s submachine gun bit hard against the base of Dr. Bell’s skull. The clinical, gentle aura she had maintained since treating Lena’s cracked ribs dissolved instantly, replaced by a chilling, razor-sharp composure.
She didn't drop her weapon. Instead, her finger tightened slightly on the trigger guard of her silenced Walther.
"You think a tactical sweep and a heavy door can trap me, Viscari?" Dr. Bell laughed softly, her voice devoid of any warmth. "I built the medical network that stitched your enforcers back together for a decade. I know every blind spot, every emergency override, and every back channel in this fortress."
Adrien remained completely still, his eyes locked on her with predatory focus. "You played the long game. Twenty-two years of hiding behind clinical charts and medical licenses, waiting for Helena to surface."
"She was the missing link," Dr. Bell hissed, her eyes shifting toward Lena with a mix of venom and obsession. "The Rostova vault keys weren't lost in the warehouse fire. They were encoded into her DNA through an experimental biometric vault system developed by her father. The only way to unlock the four hundred million dollars was for the biological heir to reach physical maturity and authenticate the signature."
Lena stepped forward from the mahogany desk, her hands trembling not with fear, but with a sudden, overwhelming surge of clarity. "You were there the night my home burned. You weren't a family friend—you were the one who gave the order to burn it."
Dr. Bell’s smile widened, cold and manic. "I gave you a second chance at life, Lena. I handed you to Arthur Blake to keep you safe until you were old enough to cash out. But you and your little boyfriend Marcus ruined the timeline by playing domestic house."

"And now?" Adrien asked quietly, his voice dropping to a low, lethal register. "What happens now, Doctor?"
"Now," Dr. Bell whispered, pressing the barrel of her gun closer to Adrien, "you hand over the encryption terminal access codes, or I scatter Lena's gray matter across your expensive wallpaper."
