Chapter 15 - THE LONG ISLAND ENTRAPMENTHook: Adrien formulates a high-risk infiltration plan to crash the Vance family's final liquidation meeting.

The map of the Long Island estate glowed under the digital projection in Adrien’s war room.
Surrounded by a high stone wall and dense pine forests, the sprawling neo-classical mansion sat isolated on a private peninsula overlooking the Atlantic. According to Victoria’s intel, Victor Vance had assembled a dozen private security operatives and three remaining Bratva captains to finalize the asset transfer.
"We go in quiet," Adrien instructed, tracing a red laser pointer across the perimeter blueprint. "Marco, you lead the northern breach to disable their communications relay. I’ll take the main entrance with the strike team."
Lena stepped forward from the shadows of the room, her expression resolute. "And I'm coming with you."
Adrien immediately stopped moving, turning to her with a sharp, uncompromising glare. "No. You stay here in the secure penthouse. It's too dangerous."
"Dangerous?" Lena repeated, her voice rising with fierce, undeniable authority. "Adrien, my entire life was stolen by the men sitting inside that mansion. My parents died because of their greed. I am not sitting behind a desk while you settle my score."
Marco turned away, hiding a small, approving smirk behind his hand.
Adrien stared at her for a long, silent moment. He looked at the set of her jaw, the fire in her hazel eyes, and the absolute refusal to be sidelined ever again. He let out a slow, defeated breath, knowing arguing with her was completely useless.

"Fine," Adrien relented, his voice dropping into a harsh compromise. "You wear full tactical body armor. You stay within arm's reach of me every single second. And the moment the shooting starts, you follow Marco's extraction protocol. Understood?"
Lena nodded sharply. "Understood."
