Chapter 18 - The Ashes of Sterling Global

Three weeks later, the board room of Sterling Global Enterprises was filled with bright morning sunlight pouring through floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking New York Harbor.

Ethan sat at the head of the long mahogany conference table, flanked by Marcus on his right and Sarah on his left. Across from them sat the newly appointed, uncorrupted board of directors.

"Sterling Global is now completely debt-free, and sixty percent of our voting shares have been transferred to the Sterling Family Trust, dedicated exclusively to global anti-corruption and child advocacy."

Ethan signed his name with a steady, resolute hand.
