Chapter 12 - The Transatlantic War Room

The private Boeing 777 cut through the dark Atlantic clouds at Mach 0.85, banking hard toward Baltimore. Inside the plush executive cabin, the atmosphere was thick with tension.
Arya sat across from Rocco, her eyes glued to a tactical map of St. Jude’s Memorial Hospital glowing on a digital tablet.
"Thorne isn't just a surgeon," Arya explained, her voice steady as she traced the floor plans. "He's the head of the Black Cross—an international syndicate of corrupt physicians who traffic in illegal organ harvesting under the guise of elite medical care. That's why they framed me. I stumbled onto their off-the-books donor registry."
Rocco leaned forward, steepling his fingers. "And your mother?"
"She’s their ultimate leverage," Arya said, her jaw tightening. "They know I won't risk her life."

"Then we don't play their game," Rocco replied calmly. "We change the board. Bruno has already hacked their local security feed. We land in forty minutes. Half of my tactical strike team will secure the hospital's power grid and exits. The other half..." He looked up, his dark eyes locking onto hers. "...will clear a path straight to your mother's room. You just focus on extracting her."
Arya nodded, feeling a surge of adrenaline she hadn't felt since the night she saved Leo. She wasn't just a survivor anymore; she was part of the Marchetti war machine.
