CHAPTER 7 — "THE MAFIA BOSS BURNED THE HOSPITAL... BUT HE NEVER EXPECTED WHO RAN INTO THE FLAMES"

The smoke could be seen from miles away.
Sirens screamed through the valley.
Parents ran barefoot toward the hospital, calling the names of their children.
Doctors rushed patients into the parking lot.
Nurses cried as oxygen tanks exploded inside the building.
The entire town watched in horror.
Elena's heart pounded as she jumped from Gabriel's truck before it had even stopped.
"My mother!" she screamed.
Miguel grabbed her arm.
"No!"
"The fire isn't natural."
"It's another trap."
Just then, a firefighter ran toward them.
"The children's wing is blocked!"
"There are still kids inside!"
Without hesitation, Elena sprinted toward the burning entrance.
"Elena!" Miguel shouted.
But she didn't stop.
She remembered her father risking everything to protect her.
Now it was her turn to protect someone else.
Inside, thick black smoke swallowed the hallways.
The alarms screamed endlessly.
She wrapped a wet blanket around her face and crawled beneath the smoke.
Through the flames, she heard crying.
A little boy was trapped beneath a collapsed ceiling beam.
His younger sister clung to him, coughing desperately.
Elena ignored the burning debris around her.
She pushed with everything she had.
The beam barely moved.
Then...
A powerful force pressed beside her.
She looked up.
Miguel.
"I told you..." he said between breaths.
"...you never fight alone."
Together they lifted the beam.
The children crawled free.
Just as they turned toward the exit...
A deafening explosion shook the building.
The ceiling collapsed behind them.
Outside, the crowd erupted into cheers as firefighters carried the rescued children to safety.
Parents embraced them through tears.
News helicopters circled overhead, broadcasting everything live.
Alejandro, watching from a distant hillside through binoculars, slammed his fist against his SUV.
"They survived..."
One of his remaining loyal men spoke nervously.
"Boss..."
"The police are requesting backup from the federal authorities."
Alejandro smiled coldly.
"Good."
"Let them come."
He reached into a locked case and removed an old satellite phone.
There was only one person he ever used it to call.
A voice answered after the second ring.
"I need the Shadow Wolves."
Even his own bodyguard froze.
The Shadow Wolves were not ordinary mercenaries.
They were the assassins criminals hired when failure was no longer an option.
Alejandro gave only one order.
"Bring me Elena..."
"...alive."
May you like
The line went dead.
Far below, Elena hugged the rescued children, unaware that the most dangerous men she would ever face had already begun hunting her.
