Chapter 1 - THE BLUE LIGHT OF TRUTHThe silence in the home theater was absolute, broken only by the hum of the high-definition projector. On the massive screen, the kitchen security footage played in 4K resolution.

Adrian stood frozen, his eyes glued to the glowing display. Every detail of Vanessa’s calculated malice was laid bare. He watched as his wife—the woman he had trusted, the woman who had played the devoted stepmother for five long years—deliberately peeled the warning label off the premium seafood platter and replaced it with a counterfeit "Allergy-Safe: Certified" sticker.

Then came the second angle. Vanessa walking briskly to Sophie’s private medical cabinet, removing the life-saving epinephrine auto-injector, and tossing it straight into the outdoor incinerator bin.

"Adrian... honey, please, let me explain," Vanessa stammered, her voice cracking with a manufactured tremor as she stepped forward, reaching out a manicured hand. "The system... the system must have been hacked! Someone edited this to frame me! You know how much I love Sophie!"

Adrian didn’t flinch. He didn’t yell. His face went cold, drained of every drop of warmth. When he finally turned to look at her, his eyes were like shards of winter ice.

"Don't speak," Adrian whispered, his voice dangerously low. "You just signed your own exile."

Sophie clutched her father’s arm, her chest tightening not from an allergic reaction, but from the sheer terror of realizing how close she had come to death, orchestrated by the person sleeping in her father’s bed.

"Daddy," Sophie whispered, her voice trembling. "She didn't just want to hurt me... she wanted me dead."

Adrian pulled his daughter closer, his jaw locked. "She won't just lose her place in this house, Sophie. She’s going to lose everything."
