Chapter 14 - THE HIDDEN ACE!"Smart choice, Rocco," Dominic sneered, walking slowly down the grand staircase, his leather shoes clicking rhythmically against the stone. He stopped a few feet away from Rocco, gesturing for his mercenaries to hold Elena tight. "Power isn't just about guns and bullets, my friend. It's about leverage. And right now, you have none."

Dominic pulled a small, sleek electronic tablet from his jacket pocket and tapped the screen. "Sign over the controlling shares of Moretti Shipping and the European shipping lanes to my shell company, or I execute the maid right here. Then I hunt down your precious son and his little guardian in the tunnels."

Rocco stared at the tablet screen displaying the digital transfer agreement. His expression remained unreadable, completely devoid of panic.

"You think you've won because you have a pen and a hostage?" Rocco asked quietly.

"I know I've won," Dominic smiled smugly. "Sign the document, Rocco."

Rocco reached out slowly, taking the stylus from Dominic's outstretched hand. He leaned over the small mahogany table where the tablet rested, hovering the pen over the digital signature line.

"Goodbye, Moretti empire," Dominic whispered triumphantly.

Click.

The distinct, unmistakable sound of a sniper rifle bolt locking into place echoed through the high vaulted ceilings from the overhead skylight catwalk.

Dominic’s smug smile vanished instantly. He froze, his eyes darting upward.

Standing on the glass catwalk directly above them was eighteen-year-old Sophia. In her hands, she held Rocco's heavy-duty custom sniper rifle, resting the barrel steadily against the railing, pointing straight down at Dominic's head!

"Put the tablet down, Mr. Vance," Sophia's voice rang out, clear, ice-cold, and entirely unshakable. "Or your next ledger entry will be your own funeral expenses."

Sophia turns the tables from above! Will Dominic comply, or will things go disastrously wrong?
