Chapter 20 - Forever a Queen

Ten years later.
The Chicago skyline looked entirely different. The tallest skyscraper downtown didn't bear the name Montgomery or Sterling. In bold, glowing gold letters across the glass facade of the central tech district stood the name: VANCE FOUNDATION & GLOBAL TECH.
I stood at the floor-to-ceiling windows of my executive penthouse office, looking out over the city I had conquered, shaped, and healed.
The heavy oak door swung open, and three tall, handsome young men walked in. They were fifteen years old now—tall, broad-shouldered, with Ethan's sharp gray eyes and dark wavy hair, but bearing the unmistakable, fierce kindness and unyielding spirit of their mother.
Liam, now an aspiring software engineer; Noah, a passionate environmental scientist; and Caleb, an avid debater and future legal prodigy.
"Mama," Liam said, adjusting his suit jacket as he walked up beside me. "The university delegation is waiting downstairs for the annual scholarship presentation."
I turned away from the window, smiling proudly at my three sons. I reached out, gently straightening Liam’s collar, just as I had straightened their velvet bow ties a decade ago on that fateful wedding day.

We walked out of the penthouse together, stepping into the private elevator, ready to write the next chapter of an empire built by blood, fire, and an unbreakable mother's love.
