Chapter 10 - The ResurrectionThree days later, the sun shone brightly over the grand estate, but the oppressive gloom that had haunted the halls for months was gone.

Arthur stood on the front porch, watching as a sleek black medical van pulled up to the circular driveway. The back doors opened, and a pale, fragile woman with hauntingly familiar eyes stepped out into the crisp morning air.

Elena.

She looked thinner, scarred by months of darkness, but her gaze instantly locked onto Arthur. Tears welled up in her eyes as she began to run toward him.

Before she could reach the steps, the front door opened, and Sarah walked out carrying little Leo.

Elena stopped dead in her tracks, her hands covering her mouth as she stared at her twin sister and her son. Leo locked eyes with Elena, his tiny face lighting up with a radiant, joyful smile. He kicked his legs excitedly, letting out a loud, happy squeal.

Arthur rushed forward, wrapping his arms tightly around both Elena and his son, burying his face in her hair as the nightmare finally came to an end.

As the family embraced in the golden sunlight, Sarah stood quietly in the doorway, a soft, peaceful smile on her face.

The baby had stopped crying days ago. Because now, the house was finally filled with the sound of a family that could never be torn apart again.
