"Who sent you?!" Arthur demanded, pressing his knee into the man's chest. "Victor? Or the board?"
Marcus coughed, spitting up blood, but a twisted smile crossed his lips. "You think... you think Charles was the head of the snake? Charles was just a puppet. The true owner of Vanguard Corporation... the one who ordered Elena locked away so the merger could go through... is already inside your network."
Elena froze, stepping away from the fallen man. "What do you mean?"
