They moved silently down the corridor toward the grand foyer. The front doors hadn't been forced open; they had been unlocked using a master administrative code—a code only Charles Sterling and his Chief Legal Officer, Victor Vance (no relation to Arthur, but an old family loyalist), possessed.
Three shadowy figures stepped through the doorway, clad in tactical gear and carrying silenced submachine guns.
