Chapter 18 - The Healing HouseThe chaos faded into a profound, peaceful quiet as dawn broke over the estate. The federal agents cleared out, leaving the mansion secure and free of shadows for the first time in years.

Arthur, Elena, and Sarah sat in the living room, watching the morning sun paint the horizon in brilliant shades of gold and pink.

Upstairs, little Leo woke up—not with a cry of terror or hysteria, but with a happy, cheerful babble.

Elena hurried up the stairs and returned moments later cradling their son in her arms. She handed Leo gently to Arthur, tears of pure joy glistening in her eyes.

Arthur held his son close, burying his face in the baby's soft hair. The nightmare was finally, truly over. The lies, the greed, and the prison cells could no longer touch them.

"We're family," Sarah smiled, wiping away a happy tear. "And no one breaks this family ever again."
