Chapter 9 - The Final StrikeChaos erupted in the foyer.

Arthur slammed the heavy iron bar into the first guard's arm, sending his weapon clattering across the marble. The second guard lunged, but Sarah—moving with astonishing speed and agility—swept her leg out, tripping him onto the slick floor. Arthur brought the poker down in a heavy arc, rendering the man unconscious instantly.
Charles turned and sprinted toward the front doors, panic overriding his aristocratic composure.
"Stop him!" Sarah shouted.
Arthur sprinted across the foyer, tackling Charles right at the threshold. The older man crashed hard onto the gravel outside, gasping for air as Arthur pinned him to the ground, pressing his forearm against Charles's throat.
"Where is she?!" Arthur demanded, his knuckles white as he pressed down. "Tell me the exact coordinates of the facility, or I swear to God I will finish what you started!"
Charles choked, clawing weakly at Arthur’s jacket. "Okay... okay! Northeast sector... Sector 9... the abandoned sanatorium under the Vanguard shell company!"
Sirens suddenly wailed in the distance. Red and blue lights began flashing through the iron gates of the estate.
Sarah walked out onto the porch, holding Leo, who let out a happy, bubbling laugh as the police cruisers flooded the courtyard.

"You didn't call the local police, did you?" Charles wheezed, looking up in horror.
Sarah smiled bitterly. "No, Charles. I called federal marshals. And they've already raided Sector 9. Elena is free."
