Chapter 16 - The Final ConfessionSterling tried to push past the aisle, but two federal marshals intercepted him with practiced efficiency, slapping heavy steel handcuffs onto his wrists. The auditorium erupted into total chaos as reporters scrambled into the aisles, cameras flashing blindingly in every direction.

I stood calmly at the podium, waiting for the uproar to subside before speaking into the microphone once more.

"Charles Vale tried to buy back an empire built on lies," I said, my voice cutting through the noise like a blade. "He used hidden shell accounts, illegal proxies, and intimidation to tear down what we are building together. But the era of performance and shadows is officially over."

Mara stood in the wings, holding up a tablet showing real-time market reactions: Vale Global Motors stock surged upward by twenty-two points in minutes as Wall Street realized the hostile takeover had failed permanently.

As Sterling was hauled past the stage in handcuffs, he looked up at me with pure venom in his eyes.
