Chapter 10 - The Unbroken Circle

The sun was dipping below the horizon, casting a warm amber glow over the sprawling stone estate.
Corbin stood on the back patio, a cup of black coffee in his hand, looking out over the quiet gardens. The ghost of his father’s legacy no longer haunted the hallways. The house was no longer a monument to hidden secrets and corporate greed; it was a home built on truth, accountability, and redemption.
A soft pair of footsteps approached behind him.
Lianna stepped out onto the patio, holding little Austin by the hand as the toddler wobbled unsteadily across the stone tiles, laughing as he chased a stray autumn leaf.
"You didn't have to send the rocking horse," Lianna said softly, a warm, teasing smile playing on her lips. "He’s already trying to ride it down the hallway."
"Every Stanford needs a proper vehicle to start their journey," Corbin replied, turning to look at them with a quiet warmth in his eyes. "Especially the ones who are actually going to build something that lasts."
