Victoria stood behind the two-way observation mirror, watching silently as the once-feared financial titan broke down under pressure.
"I didn't care about Brandon," Elena sobbed to the federal investigator. "He was just a tool to get to the Sterling shipping lanes! Victoria was standing in the way of our global monopoly!"

"And now your monopoly is gone," the investigator stated flatly, slamming a thick folder onto the table. "Your Swiss accounts have been frozen under international asset forfeiture laws. Your firm is liquidated. You’re facing life without parole."
Victoria turned away from the mirror. The nightmare that had started on a freezing cliff in Montana was finally reaching its absolute conclusion. There were no more shadows left hiding in the dark.
