Brandon Prescott remained isolated in his maximum-security cell in Colorado, completely forgotten by the world. Gretchen and Elena Vanderberg were locked away in federal penitentiaries thousands of miles apart, their financial empire dismantled piece by piece.
Back at her private alpine estate in Glacier National Park, Victoria stood on her balcony as the spring snow melted away to reveal vibrant green valleys below.
Her son, now running around the patio with boundless energy, laughed as he chased a fluttering butterfly.

Marcus stepped out onto the balcony, handing Victoria a steaming cup of coffee. "Federal marshals just confirmed the final asset transfers," Marcus said quietly. "Everything is secure. Sterling Holdings is officially untouchable."
Victoria took the mug, sipping slowly as she watched the morning sun crest over the very mountain ridge where her life had once been nearly snuffed out.
