Chapter 19 - The Counter-StrikeI didn't raise my voice. I didn't slam my fist on the table. Instead, I leaned back, crossed my legs, and pulled a small, sleek tablet from my briefcase, sliding it across the polished mahogany surface toward her.

"You should really check your portfolio holdings before you make grand speeches, Victoria," I said calmly.

Victoria glanced down at the tablet with a dismissive smirk, but the moment her eyes scanned the top line of text, her composure completely shattered. The color drained from her face, leaving her skin chalk-white.

"What... what is this?" she stammered, tapping the screen frantically.

"That is a freezing order issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, backed by international anti-money laundering treaties," I replied smoothly. "You thought routing your funds through Zurich shell companies would hide your tracks? Your entire capital backing for V-Holdings was flagged the moment you touched our supply chain accounts. Your accounts are locked, your assets are frozen, and local authorities are outside waiting to escort you to immigration control."

Victoria slammed her hands on the table, standing up so fast her chair knocked backward against the glass wall. "You set a trap! You knew I was coming!"

"I always know when a rat is trying to board my ship," I stood up slowly, towering over her with an unyielding gaze. "Tell your family that the game is permanently over."

Within minutes, local security and authorities escorted Victoria out of the building, her multi-million-dollar revenge plot dissolving into absolute nothingness before it could even begin.
