The grand auditorium was packed with thousands of the world's most elite entrepreneurs, investors, and political leaders. When my name was announced, the applause thundered through the hall like rolling thunder.
I walked steadily onto the stage, adjusting the microphone. I wore a sharp, midnight-blue pantsuit that caught the stage lights, my posture completely unyielding.
"Thank you," I began, my voice echoing clearly across the vast auditorium. "For decades, the corporate world has operated on a simple, archaic premise: that power belongs to those who inherit it, and vulnerability belongs to those who have nothing."
The audience fell completely silent, hanging on every word.
"We are often told that our survival depends on the alliances we make, the family names we carry, or the protectors we tie ourselves to," I continued, pacing slowly across the stage. "I am here to tell you that is a lie."
