Chapter 20 - The Ultimate Twist

Evelyn stared at the photo, her hand trembling violently. "She... she survived the fall."
"It wasn't just Isabella," Victor whispered, pointing at a secondary file tucked inside the envelope. "Look at the biological timestamp."
Evelyn pulled out the secondary file. It was a master registry from the original Geneva facility created thirty years ago.
There were no twins.
There were no clones.
There was a mass-scale genetic matrix. Evelyn Ward, Isabella Vance, and dozens of other women raised in different corners of the globe were all part of Generation Zero—identical genetic sisters created to act as mothers for a new global elite.
Suddenly, the front door of the estate chimed.
Thomas instantly drew his weapon, signaling Victor to stay back as he approached the entrance. He checked the live security feed.
Standing on the porch was a young woman carrying a sleeping toddler wrapped in a blue blanket. The woman turned her head toward the camera, revealing a face identical to Evelyn’s.
She wasn't holding a weapon. She looked terrified, exhausted, and bruised, clutching a piece of paper with Victor’s private address written on it.
Evelyn walked slowly toward the glass doors, her heart pounding in her chest. She unlocked the heavy door and opened it.
The woman on the porch looked up at Evelyn, tears filling her blue eyes.
"Are you... Evelyn?" the woman whispered in a desperate voice. "My name is Claire. I was told... I was told my baby died two years ago in a clinic in Tokyo. But she woke up yesterday and said your name."
Evelyn looked at the woman—another sister, another mother whose heart had been shattered by the same corporate monsters.
Then Evelyn looked back at Victor, whose eyes were filled with absolute determination. The luxury life, the quiet retirement, the simple dream of peace—it was over. But a far greater purpose was taking its place.
Evelyn stepped forward, taking Claire’s cold hands in her own and pulling her inside the warmth of the home.
"You're safe now, Claire," Evelyn said, her voice echoing with an invincible strength that could shake the world. "We have a long way to go... but we're going to tear their world down piece by piece."
Sophie walked up from behind, holding her plush rabbit, and reached out to hold the tiny hand of Claire’s sleeping daughter.
