Chapter 19 - Sirens in the NightThe struggle was brief, brutal, and decisive. Alejandro, fueled by months of bottled-up grief, righteous anger, and a fierce drive to protect his son and his home, pinned Rossi to the floor, driving his fist downward until the criminal stopped moving.

Heavy footsteps echoed from the main corridor upstairs, followed by the blinding sweep of flashlights and the unmistakable shout of federal agents.

"Federal Police! Drop your weapons!"

Moments later, heavily armed tactical officers swarmed down the service stairs, securing the perimeter, cuffing Rossi’s remaining accomplices, and rushing medical personnel into the server room.

Valeria sat on a metal stool, pressing an ice pack against her bruised cheek. Alejandro knelt beside her, his hands stained with dust and blood, checking her face with deep tenderness.

"Are you okay?" he whispered, his voice trembling slightly.

Valeria managed a faint, tired smile, her dark eyes shining with quiet triumph. "I've had worse days on the cleaning crew, Mr. Ríos."

Prosecutor Elena Vance walked into the room, flanked by two senior detectives. She looked at the subdued criminals being hauled away in handcuffs, then turned her gaze to Alejandro and Valeria.

"Well," Vance said, adjusting her glasses. "It looks like your domestic consultant duties just officially expanded to national security. Donato Rossi’s network has been completely dismantled. San Pedro Garza García is finally clean."
