Chapter 20 - The Unbroken Circle

The wedding was small, quiet, and blindingly beautiful.
There were no Wall Street executives, no corrupt politicians, and no tabloid reporters. Just a sun-drenched garden in upstate New York overlooking a quiet lake, surrounded by Dr. Sarah Bennett, Lev, and a handful of trusted friends who had walked through the fire to help them reach the other side.
Ava wore a simple, elegant ivory dress that caught the afternoon sunlight like spun gold. In her arms, she carried Claire, while Chloe walked proudly down the flower-strewn aisle clutching a small basket of white petals, her little pink shoes clicking softly against the stone path.
Waiting at the end of the aisle was Elias.
As Ava stepped up beside him, he reached out, taking her hand in his strong, steady grip. The cold, ruthless mafia boss had completely vanished, replaced by a man who had finally found his redemption in the warmth of a family he never thought he deserved.
The minister smiled warmly, looking out over the small gathering.
"Do you, Elias Vance, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love her, honor her, and protect her through all the days of your life?"
Elias looked at Ava, his dark eyes shining with a fierce, unwavering devotion.
"I do," he said, his voice ringing clear across the quiet garden.
"And do you, Ava Miller, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to walk with him through the light and the dark?"
Ava smiled, the memory of that freezing night under the Manhattan overpass fading into the distant past, replaced by the brilliant, unstoppable dawn of a brand-new world.

"I do," she whispered.
With the laughter of their daughters echoing in the warm summer air, Elias pulled her close, sealing their new beginning with a kiss that promised safety, eternity, and an unbreakable love that nothing in this world could ever touch again.
