Chapter 7 - The Downfall of Daniel Miller

Back at the penthouse, the digital clock on the wall glowed 3:00 AM.
Daniel sat at his mahogany desk, his hand trembling as he pressed his thumb into the digital scanner attached to the laptop Lev held out.
BEEP.
Transfer complete.
$450 million in corporate assets, real estate holdings, offshore accounts, and the entire Miller Group portfolio—gone in less than three minutes.
"It's all yours," Daniel wept, staring blankly at the screen. "You ruined me. You took everything."
"I didn't take anything, Daniel," Elias said, walking back toward the shattered skylight where his team's rope was still dangling. "I simply returned what you stole from the world—your dignity, your money, and your name."
"You can't leave me here like this!" Daniel screamed, lunging forward. "What about the police? What about the media?"
Lev casually stepped into his path, blocking him with a single, unyielding forearm.
"The media?" Elias paused at the edge of the roof opening, looking back with a chilling smirk. "By morning, the financial papers won't be talking about your divorce. They'll be publishing federal indictments for tax evasion, money laundering, and corporate fraud—all signed by your own CFO under your IP address."
"You framed me!"

"I just organized your paperwork," Elias corrected smoothly.
With that, Elias grabbed the rope and vanished into the snowy night sky, leaving Daniel alone in the dark, silent ruins of his stolen empire.
