Chapter 13 - The Boardroom Ambush

Hook: When the true majority shareholder steps into the light, she doesn't want justice—she wants total destruction.
Twenty-four hours later, the mahogany boardroom of Whitmore Infrastructure was packed to capacity. The board members sat in stunned silence as the heavy oak doors swung open, revealing a woman in a sharp, obsidian-black trench coat.
Elena Vance—striking, ice-eyed, and carrying an aura of absolute menace—walked slowly toward the head of the table. She didn't look like Victoria; she possessed a cold, calculating brilliance that made Arthur look like an amateur.
"Good morning, gentlemen—and little brother," Elena said, her voice cutting through the silence like broken glass. She tossed a thick legal portfolio onto the polished table. "I see you've been busy playing Robin Hood with my company."
Adrian stood up from his chair, his eyes narrowing. "Elena. Arthur kept you hidden in Geneva for decades, using you as a phantom weapon against our own family."
"Arthur was a fool who played small ball," Elena replied smoothly, taking the central seat. "He wanted to embezzle millions. I want the entire global footprint. And thanks to your little stunt at the shareholders' meeting, every regulatory body is looking the other way while I execute a hostile buyout of our primary competitor."

Marissa, standing quietly near the doorway, stepped forward. "You're going to destroy thousands of working families just to feed your own vengeance?"
Elena turned her sharp gaze toward Marissa, a cruel smirk touching her lips. "Ah, the impoverished housekeeper who thinks she belongs in a boardroom. Lower your voice, peasant. In thirty seconds, I am calling a vote to liquidate Whitmore Infrastructure, sell off its assets to offshore shell companies, and leave you and your little bastard child with absolutely nothing."
