Chapter 8 - Trojan Horse

Hook: Disguised as maintenance workers, Adrian and Marcus infiltrate the shareholder gala where Victoria Vance is finalizing the multi-billion-dollar merger.
The Grand Ballroom of the Boston Harbor Hotel glittered under crystal chandeliers. Hundreds of investors, board members, and journalists in expensive evening wear mingled, sipping champagne while Victoria Vance—sleek, sharp-eyed, and wearing a tailored white Chanel suit—took the podium.

"Bypassing the firewall," Adrian muttered, his fingers flying across the keyboard with the speed of a seasoned software architect. "Injecting the decrypted audio files from Thomas Keane's microcassette, along with the unsealed financial ledgers."
On the massive LED screen above the stage, Victoria Vance smiled as she prepared to sign the final merger agreement. "And now, with your unanimous approval, I officially sign—"

In the sudden silence of the ballroom, a scratchy, haunting audio recording began to play through the high-powered surround sound speakers.
