Chapter 16 - The Uninvited Shadow

A heavy, plain manila envelope arrived at the estate's private security gate on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. Marco intercepted it at the metal detector station, scanning the contents with a chemical sniffer before bringing it directly to Luca’s private study.

"Let her write all the letters she wants," Naomi said, lifting her chin with quiet defiance. "We aren't hiding anymore."
