Chapter 33 - A New Blueprint

The transformation of the Rickai empire didn't happen overnight, but by the time spring thawed the winter frost into sparkling morning dew, the corporate transition was complete. Dante sat at his mahogany desk in the private study, though the doors to the hallway stood wide open, welcoming the cheerful chatter of Sophia playing with her building blocks in the adjacent sunroom.

Dante signed the final document with a heavy fountain pen, his signature sharp and definitive. "Good. Ensure the operational accounts are audited twice. I don't want a single loose thread tying us back to the past."
"Understood," Viktor nodded, turning toward the door before pausing. "By the way, there's a delegation from the municipal council requesting an audience next week. They want to honor the estate's recent donations to the regional children's hospital."

Viktor chuckled softly and left the room, closing the door halfway. Dante leaned back in his leather chair, looking out through the tall glass windows at the vibrant green lawns stretching toward the private road. The world outside had spent decades whispering fear his name, but inside these walls, he was simply Mr. Dante—the man who said yes to a three-year-old girl during a thunder-torn October night and changed the course of destiny forever.
